This piece was created by an artist called Grayson Perry, The Walthamstow Tapestry  The piece depicts a human life cycle from birth to death highlighting and exposing things from modern day consumerism. It made me think of one of my design ideas i had which was to create some kind of timeline depicting different peoples lifes & death and how it emotionally effects humans.I also thought it linked in with the research to do with how stories can be visually shown like cave art and the medieval tapestry's. Its very similar but instead a modern day version on pots. I like how you have to get close to understand whats actually going on, from far away it just looks like nice little average designs and pictures until you see the true meaning.
